App Logins

Every app will have a login type, which is set to none by default. But it can be changed to: Public, Private, and Domain-based.

Choosing your app login type:

  1. Public: Anyone can log in to the app that you have created. -> Choosing your default role type: (This is only available if you select “Public”): Anyone who logs in for the first time into the application will be assigned this role. Also, these roles are the same ones that the user has created in the “Roles” section.

  1. Private: Only users created by the creator of the app can log in into the app.

  1. Domain: The creator of the app must provide a certain domain(s) to log into the app. Only those users who use the email of that domain can log in to the app. (Example: if you want to allow people in Brokenatom to use the app, set the domain to “brokenatom.io” and then only users with domain brokenatom.io can log into the app.) -> Domains can be added by clicking on “+Add Domain”

-> Every domain is going to have a default role once you click on “+Add Domain”

  1. None: No one is allowed to do anything with the data of the app. (Ideal for static website)
